Why was The International Budo Institute formed? PDF Print E-mail
The International Budo Institute was formed by Shihan Jeffrey Henderson, 6th Dan, to provide an organization where students, both new and experienced, could find learning materials to supplement their martial arts training. The Institute was also formed to provide a means for new, inexperienced students to obtain a Black Belt Diploma through distance learning. Lastly, The Budo Institute was formed to provide assistance to the many independent martial arts schools who may be lacking the necessary organization to give them accreditation and direction. Thus, Sensei may endeavor to obtain higher Black Belt ranking as well as obtain specific teaching licenses and titles.
