It is with greet pride that the International Budo Institute congratulates Shihan Sjon Sluiter in being awarded Yondan in fulfillment of his studies for this grade. The presentation was made by Shihan Henderson and Sensei Kukura near Rotterdam in September 2008 during a demonstration and official presentation where Shihan Sluiter was given his certificate and new belt. With the presentation of the Yondan grade Sensei Sluiter now takes on the offical title of Shihan.
Shihan Sluiter showed fantastic dedication in studying the Yondan material and it is expected that he will continue in this fashion while striving for Go-dan. The Institute is confident that he will continue to provide both his young and older students with the best martial arts instruction.
We look forward to many years with Shihan Sluiter and congratulate him wholeheartedly on his promotion. Well Done!
