Level of Difficulty: Black Belt

Shi Shi Ryu No Sai is the standard Sai Kata taught within The International Budo Institute. It is usually taught after Black Belt at the 2nd or 3rd Dan (level). The Kata originates from Kudaka Island in Okinawa and has been passed down to the Instructores of the IBI from the Hisataka family. The Kata contains approximately 50 moves. It is characterized by strong blocking movements with quick stricking techniques.
